Cognitive Science- Part I

I met my cousin last week. He is just eight years old. For me, he always remains a kid, but to my surprise he competed with me in Age of Empire and won. It took almost a month for me to understand the game, but for him it took just a couple of minutes and a sample game to get it started. So, my question of how kids learn and pick up things faster remains enigmatic!
